New shop space. #joecurrenarts

I spent a good part of last year gutting and renovating 867 2nd St, a mid-century modern brick and stucco building that survived the ‘64 tsunami, which flooded it and most of Crescent City’s downtown.

Built in 1952, originally home to a florist, a sporting goods retailer, and The Oasis Club…a classy watering hole, that later became The Oasis, a dark and smokey dive bar that was shuttered in the late 90’s. It sat empty ever since.

After a lot of work, I’m excited to move into a new space and happy to breathe some life back into an old building.
